  3. A valid and working email address. The e-mail address is used only for communication between Staff and the member.
  4. You must submit real and true information on the application form. Falsified information will render your account deleted upon discovery.

  6. Availability to complete your first flight within 3 days after account approval.
  7. Have a valid IVAO VID with an active account and minimum 150 logged hours as a pilot.

You need to file three (3) PIREPs per month in order to remain active. Our system automatically deletes accounts which have been inactive for one month.

Yes. Pilots are permitted 90 days of leave per year. The limit is there to ensure people do not abuse the system. Requests for extended leave can be made. Pilots with zero hours are not able to go on leave.

You can request holiday at ‘My Settings’ page within ‘Airline’ section.

Whilst you’re on holiday, your pilot account will not be subject to the activity requirements – it will not be put on grace or removed. Please note you will not be able to book any flights either. You are able to leave your holiday at any time and any unused days will be returned back to your holiday allowance.

On your return, the activity requirements will begin to apply immediately and you will have to achieve 3 PIREPS filed within the past 16 calendar days.

Please note, that you cannot request holidays until your Pilot Account is at least 90 days old.

Hellenic VA does not accept transferred hours from other virtual airlines or pilot recording software. All members follow the same path here at HEQ, including staff and we encourage all new members to explore and enjoy everything we have to offer within its operations from Cadet rank up.

We are currently supporting the following simulator:

  • Lockheed Martin Prepar3D
  • X-Plane 11 & 12
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Other simulators are not officially supported!

Visit the Pilot Application page for more information and to apply for the new pilot interview.

The use of the flight simulator accelerated time mode is not allowed, as it does not align with Hellenic Virtual Airline’s realism theme.
